Post Mold Remediation Testing
Eco-Tek Pro Restoration believes that Post Remediation Mold Testing is important. This is especially true if you have any doubts that the original remediation wasn't performed properly or that it for some reason wasn't successful. It it unethical for a company to both perform the remediation and do their own post remediation testing because it is the equivalent to that of someone grading their own homework or projects. The results will always skew in their favor because it is easy to "not see" any mold after a remediation is performed if the same company performs both the remediation and the post testing. This is why it is so important to always find a third party company to check the original work. Since the two companies are unrelated, the results you receive will be more honest and accurate.
Eco-Tek Pro Restoration offer post remediation mold testing to those who want to ensure that there really is no more dangerous mold in their home or office and perform the same kind of testing that we would had we been the original company looking for mold in the first place. We do a thorough inspection of the building and perform the same testing that then gets sent off to the lab that can give you an idea as to how successful the Mold Remediation was. We make sure that the area left behind is clean and free of excess debris. Our specialists will also check to make sure that the air conditioning systems and vents were properly cleaned and sanitized because if this was not done, and there was anything left behind, the air conditioning unit could spread the mold to other locations in the building.
We provide the following Post Verification Testing Services:
This involves one of our specialists to walk through the home or place of business to see if there is any evidence of mold in the area that had remediation performed as well as other parts of the building. They will also check to see if everything was properly cleaned and everything that was properly disposed of.
This involves gathering samples using swabs that would then get sent out to the lab from in the area that had the remediation performed as well as in other locations to check if there is a spore count or mold species that comes back on the laboratory results.
If the results come back and the remediation was indeed performed correctly we give you the report and certify that you do not have mold on your premises. We let you know whether the remediation was successful.
